📣Event Details:
Driven by the global wave of digital transformation, the annual Smart City Summit & Expo will take place from March 17 to 20, held simultaneously at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. This year, Administration for Digital Industries will set up themed pavilions at both venues, curated around the themes Go Global, Go Digital, and Go Green.
Through immersive and interactive displays, the pavilion will showcase a variety of smart applications, demonstrating how digital technologies combined with AI and data-driven solutions can bring innovative momentum to both urban governance and industrial development.
The exhibition features diverse smart city application scenarios, including smart aquaculture, smart reading experiences, AI-powered guided tours, intelligent transportation data management, and sustainable resource applications. Together, these exhibits highlight the practical achievements and real-world value of digital technologies in everyday life, public services, and urban development.

In addition, the venue will feature a dedicated APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Alliance) Awards Zone, presenting innovative technologies and market-ready digital solutions from award-winning teams. This area further demonstrates Taiwan’s strong innovation capabilities and competitiveness in the global digital technology arena.

The Administration for Digital Industries, Ministry of Digital Affairs, is hosting the 2025 ITSPORT, which will take place from November 7 to 9, 2025, at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Themed around “Smart New Arena, Let the Players Battle!”, the event will create a nationwide festival combining digital technology, sports, and entertainment, welcoming players of all ages to join the fun. 

The event’s grand final will feature a special exhibition match by Tokyo Olympic Taekwondo bronze medalist Chia-ling LO, delivering an exciting showcase of how technology and sports can merge into a stunning virtual–real showdown. On the final day, November 9, the event will also hold the championship and award ceremony in the afternoon.

Participants may choose from two scoring divisions—Children’s Scoring Division and Players’ Scoring Division—or two play-counting divisions—Players’ Time Trial (for participants aged 13-54) and Senior Time Trial (for those aged 55 and older).

Competition categories will include seven interactive sports experiences integrating domestic and international motion-sensing technologies:

•Captain Gym (Surfing Challenge)
